Information on Tandemflights
Pilots with an appropriate advanced training and license can carry a passenger in their paraglider. It needs a special tandem-paragliding equipment for it. During the flight one sits in a comfortable paraglider seat (harness). Usually the pilot sits behind the passenger during the flight, flying next to each other is rarely done. Achievement and flight behavior of modern tandem gliders differ only little from solo gliders.
Launching is simple: On command of the pilot one starts running and after only a few steps one takes off gently! Then you enjoy the unique impressions in the air, the wind and the intensive experience of liberty floating highly above everything! On good days one rises over the take-off place with the thermals. During the flight it is possible to take photos and if you like you can also steer the glider. For those who like action the pilot will fly some dynamic maneuvers if desired.
